Favorites and Notifications
Short answer
Cam-site favorites let you save performers, and notifications tell you when they go online or message you; both normally require a free account. All 15 platforms now have a yes for favorites: CAM4, Flirt4Free, ImLive, Cams.com, SkyPrivate and LivePrivates from public sources, and the other nine from our editorial review, with alerts sometimes reserved for paid tiers.
Platform data checked: 19 October 2026Editorial review: pending human reviewHow we evaluate
Live performers keep irregular schedules, so a reliable online alert is often more useful than browsing. Platforms differ in how alerts are delivered and whether they are free, which this page sets out from the sources available.
How platforms were selected
Primary: Favorites & alerts
This is the feature the page explains: saving performers and being alerted when they are online.
Private messaging
Many notifications are for messages rather than online status, so messaging support shapes how useful alerts are.
Platforms are listed in a mechanical order: those with a sourced 'yes' on the page's primary criterion first, then by how many of the page's criteria they meet on sourced data, then by how many facts we could source overall. It is not a quality ranking, and no commercial relationship affects it.

How do favorites and online alerts work on cam sites?
Cam-site favorites store performers in a list on your account, and notification features use that list to alert you by email, browser or desktop alert, or push notification when a performer starts streaming or sends a message. Favorites and notifications both rely on an account, so guests cannot use them.
Are cam-site favorites and alerts free or paid?
Cam-site favorites and alerts are free on some platforms and limited to paying members on others. Cams.com’s help pages describe instant notification when favorite models come online as a Premiere (paid membership) feature. LivePrivates’ interface gives a limited number of free favorite slots, with more unlocked at higher Club Elite loyalty levels.
Flirt4Free, ImLive and CAM4 document favorites as a standard feature. Third-party reviews describe favorites and notifications from the model card on Flirt4Free, and a favorites list with desktop alerts for events, messages and favorite hosts on ImLive, which lists favorites among its free features. CAM4 offers favorite (‘heart’) profiles, a friends list and email notification settings, per a review.
Can SkyPrivate and LivePrivates send alerts without a native app?
Yes — SkyPrivate and LivePrivates deliver notifications through a web app or companion app instead of a native viewer app. SkyPrivate’s official pages describe a favorites list and push notifications for new messages through its SP Chat web app. LivePrivates’ Club Elite Chat app, listed on the App Store and Google Play, provides real-time message notifications.
What does our editorial review say about favorites?
Our editorial review of 19 October 2026 records favorites on Chaturbate, Stripchat, CamSoda, BongaCams, LiveJasmin, MyFreeCams, Streamate, Jerkmate and Amateur.tv, but does not describe how alerts are delivered or whether they are free. Third-party reviews add that MyFreeCams’ free features include bookmarks and a friends list, and Jerkmate’s privacy policy mentions push notifications.
All 15 platforms also have a yes for private messaging, so message alerts are relevant on every cam site in the directory; see the private messaging page for how messages are priced.
Frequently asked questions
Are online alerts free?
Cam-site online alerts are not free everywhere. Cams.com makes instant online notifications a Premiere feature, while third-party reviews list favorites as free on ImLive. Check whether alerts sit behind a paid tier before relying on them.
How are notifications delivered without an app?
Cam-site notifications without an app arrive through email, browser or desktop alerts, or a web app. ImLive reportedly uses desktop alerts, CAM4 has email notification settings, and SkyPrivate sends push notifications through its SP Chat web app.
Is there a limit on how many performers I can follow?
Yes on LivePrivates: free favorite slots are limited and higher Club Elite levels unlock more. Limits were not documented for other platforms.
